We treat privacy extremely seriously and try to avoid the storage of personally identifiable information (PII) wherever possible. We encourage you to use anonymized email address.

Summary: We only store what’s necessary. Sensitive financial information is always stored within our Payment Provider. Examples of necessary data we store include (login email, organizational role, team memberships, etc).

What data do we collect?

• We store a session cookie to allow login capability on our site and protect form submissions from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF).
• We use Fathom Analytics to give a privacy preserving analytics experience. Fathom Analytics does not store cookies in your browser.
• We use Tally to collect customer interest in our platform and feedback. Tally may store cookies in your browser.
• We use Payment Provider as our payment gateway. All transactional and financial data such as your credit card details never touch our servers. They’re directly handled by Payment Provider. Our Payment Provider administrative accounts are protected with 2FA authentication. Our Payment Provider uses various anti-fraud strategies which may store cookies in your browser.
• We keep server logs of browser/request data when you interact with our website. This is to help us debug and improve our website and services.
• We store and process your data when you voluntarily interact with us in our Activities, Teams, and Campaigns, emails, feedback forms, surveys, beta programs, etc.

How do we use your data?

• We use your data (stored with Payment Provider + our database) to process your donations and manage your account.
• We use your data (stored with Payment Provider + our database) to email you confirmation of the donation (or cancellation).
• We use logs to debug our servers and applications.
• We email you if you opted-in for bulletin updates. Your email consent is stored in our database and you can opt-out anytime.
• We email you if you request a login link.
• We do not sell or rent your data to anyone for any reason.
• We display data you have provided on public pages, such as your name, photo, and donation amount on the public campaign page.

• Collect sensitive financial information except through Payment Provider
• Copy sensitive financial information from Payment Provider
• Retain data longer than necessary
• Store sensitive financial information except within Payment Provider
• Use Give With Click data for purposes other than operating Give With Click

How do we store your data?

• Your data is primarily stored within our database and all sensitive financial information is stored securely on Payment Provider. Our database stores information about your organization, activities, teams, and members.
• Logs are stored on a Debian (Bullseye v12) server in a US Data Center.
